8/28/2023 0 Comments Hornet monster legends fandom![]() ![]() Sparkus moreso because of better Talent access. All of this being said, Hornroot, even with his positives for a MT Tank, is heavily outclassed by King Atum and his SC MT contemporary Sparkus simply because of their permanent Taunts they have in their traits. Hornroot's Relics are also great, both offer Stamina Regen options on top of sustainment options. Another notable detail is that his MT Reset skill is on a 2 turn CD, making it more spammable than most other SC MT mons who's MT Reset skills tend to be around 3 to 4 CD. And just like Maremotus who came before, Hornroot has access to 2 Single Deny skills, a Single Roots that gives him Regen, and a Single Mega Roots which could potentially mess up his enemies bad. As for his Skillset, he has plenty of Self Healing options, and he can even set Skill Mirror on himself, which is potentially very dangerous for a Tank to have setup on them. Hornroot also boasts a pretty good trait all around, as he can't be shut down by Control effects and he's protected from 2 of his most dangerous DoTs in Burn and Ignite that he otherwise would be completely demolished by. ![]() That said SP has been on a binge of adding SC MT monsters in the game who have only 1 turn of MT right off the bat, where Hornroot is more traditional and starts every battle off with a 3-turn MT, allowing him more freedom with his skill kit. Hornroot is a Nature and Water SC Mega Taunt Tank with a lot of good going for him in regards to his role.
